While desperately searching for her father, twentysomething Lily Trevino (Barbie Ferreira) finds a man (John Leguizamo) with the same name as him on Facebook. When she messages this other Bob Trevino on an impulse, the two quickly connect, forming an unlikely yet genuine bond. With its sparkling SXSW premiere (where it won both the Grand Jury and Audience awards in the Narrative Feature category), Tracie Laymon's debut feature has something in it for everyone. More than anything else, the film is a gesture of kindness that we all need in these pressing times.
