Summary
The legendary Spanish director (The Spirit of the Beehive,El Sur) returns after a thirty-year hiatus with his fourth feature, a poignant dissertation on ageing, memory and cinema itself. In this film about a film, director Miguel Garay (Solo) comes back to Madrid to participate in a TV programme investigating the disappearance of actor Julio Arenas (Coronado). The narrative of returning home envelops both the film and the filmmaker.
