COULD YOU BE A FILM SCREENER?

COULD YOU BE A FILM SCREENER?

Help us develop the DIFF 2025 programme!

Taking place 20th February – 2nd March 2025, the Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival.

As a DIFF Film Screener you will help us decide which films to show in the festival. By watching submitted films and providing written and verbal feedback, you can support the wider Programming team to curate the official selection.

We’re looking for talented people interested in learning about the film industry and the festival process, and who are looking to expand their skillset by working closely with an experienced team.

Some experience with film and filmmaking is preferred, but natural talent, passion for film and dedication to learning more about the art of film programming are the most important qualities.

The submissions screening process will start in July 2024, with the majority of viewing and screenings taking place from August to November.

A minimum screening of 50 features or 100 short films with written reviews will be expected, with the potential for more as required.

Film Screeners will have regular access to the Programming team for guidance.
